A Safe and Supportive Space
We have two dedicated centres in Nottingham and Northampton, designed for children and young people. When you arrive, you will be welcomed by a Crisis Support Worker, who will stay with you throughout your visit. You will not have to sit in a busy waiting room, and everything will be explained at a pace that feels right.
What to Expect
- Check your health and well-being and offer treatment if needed.
- Collect forensic evidence if the assault happened recently, but only if you choose to.
- Provide emergency contraception and medication to protect against infections if needed.
- Talk through your options and help you decide what happens next.
How to Get help
You are in control. We will never force you to do anything you are not comfortable with.
How to Start the Conversation
Calling us can feel difficult, and it is okay if you are unsure what to say. You could start with:
- Something has happened to me; I need some help.
- Can I ask how you might support me?
- Can I make a self-referral?

Our Crisis Support Workers are used to speaking with young people and will guide you through the conversation at your own pace. If talking is hard, you can ask them to start by asking you questions instead.
Bringing Someone With You
You can bring a parent, friend, or trusted adult for support.
